We Can't Do This Alone

Thank you! Gratitude has been the key feeling bouncing through my soul this past weekend. My album release show went better than I could have imagined. Art House Cafe was packed with my fellow musicians and music lovers, Libby & Cal wowed the crowd performing their lush and beautiful songs, my special guests Mike, D’Arcy and Glen did a great job adding an extra little seasoning to my music and CKCU has been super supportive, especially Susan Johnson who’s invited me on her show numerous times and even convinced some volunteers to help sell copies of my CD Vacated Shapes (available now on Bandcamp - sorry that was my last plug).

If there’s one takeaway for me after two months of promoting this show, yelling into the internet, airwaves and press, is that we can’t do this alone. In order to keep our local music scene strong and healthy, we’ve got to work together. We need to share each other’s work, support it in any way that we can by listening, cheering on and attending shows. There’s no better success than one that’s shared together.
